Why this site exists
Erectile dysfunction is common, treatable, and surrounded by an unusual amount of noise. It is one of the most heavily advertised categories in consumer health, one of the most counterfeited drug categories worldwide, and one of the hardest things for people to bring up with a doctor.
That combination produces a predictable result: a lot of people buy something without ever finding out what the options are, what they should cost, or whether the symptom is pointing at something more serious.
We built The ED Watch to be the page we wished existed — one that explains the four prescription medications plainly, says out loud what they should cost, and is willing to point you at the cheaper route even when that route pays us nothing.
What we do differently
- We review the cheap options too. A discount card at a chain pharmacy is often the best answer. It earns us nothing and it stays in our rankings.
- We separate the drug from the seller. Two different questions, two different sets of reviews. Most sites blur them.
- We publish our criteria. Every score maps to a named attribute with a stated reason — see our editorial policy.
- We lead with the safety information, not with a buy button. The nitrate interaction and the cardiovascular link come before any recommendation.
What we are not
How we handle mistakes
