Alcohol can add to blood-pressure-lowering effects, and the label warns about substantial alcohol consumption. Tell the prescriber about typical use and any dizziness or fainting. Riociguat and strong CYP3A4 inhibitors are also important contraindications in the label; other drugs, including alpha blockers, can require specific precautions.
